At the Velodrom and the Max-Schmeling-Halle, we have been organizing our operations and events in a resource-efficient, socially responsible, and consistently forward-looking manner for many years. Velomax is regularly audited both internally and externally by TÜV and is certified according to recognized management system standards—including environmental, energy, quality, and occupational safety management. In addition, the Max-Schmeling-Halle has been awarded Green Globe Platinum status. Concrete environmental and climate protection measures are an integral and actively practiced part of our business operations.

We continuously optimize our processes in all areas and rely on close cooperation with event organizers and our two anchor tenants, the BR Volleys and the Füchse Berlin. The focus is on the sustainable planning and implementation of all events with the clear goal of further reducing our ecological footprint.
Sybil Franke, Managing Director of Velomax Berlin Hallenbetriebs GmbH
The Max-Schmeling-Halle, the UFO, and the Velodrom are places where all visitors should feel safe and respected. We are creating a “safer space” in our arenas—a space where people are welcome regardless of their backgrounds.
